   Résumé
   1895: une jeune aristocrate cubaine se laisse séduire par un bellâtre espagnol, déjà marié dans son pays. Quand elle apprend la vérité, sa raison est ébranlée.
   ■ 1932: une jeune bourgeoise se lie avec un révolutionnaire, après avoir quitté une famille enlisée dans la routine.
   ■ 1960: une ouvrière agricole est amoureuse d'un paysan abruti particulièrement borné, qui refuse l'alphabétisation et veut garder sa femme enfermée.
   Commentaire
   Trois épisodes illustrant la condition de la femme à Cuba, et sa lente libération au fil du temps.
